Berlin (pts050/12.05.2005/15:40) - Berlin's ZANOX.de AG, the European market leader in performance-based multichannel commerce, is expanding its on-site presence in key international markets. In addition to its offices in Spain and Sweden and the enhanced presence in Italy, zanox will now be represented in the United Kingdom with its own branch. This is all part of zanox's offensive to bolster its pan-European market position and boost sales through experienced and specialist regional sales teams.
To accelerate international growth in all major multichannel commerce segments, zanox plans to open offices in at least two more European countries in the coming year. In addition, zanox is engaged in long-standing projects with selected customers in the United States and Australia. At the same time, the company is in the midst of developing market entry strategies with respect to several Asian markets. Following last year's excellent turnover in the tens of millions of euros, zanox is expecting growth between 40 and 50 million euros for 2005.
Besides positive market trends, zanox's growth can be attributed especially to the acquisition of new customers, the up-selling and cross-selling of multichannel commerce products and the swift expansion of the affiliate marketing network. At the level of sales, zanox relies on a combination of direct and indirect sales that are targeted to each individual country's market. Through its so-called Agency Solution, the multichannel commerce company is able to offer a sales model specifically tailored to agencies. As a result, agencies are promoted to strategic partners and have a stake in setup fees and continuous transactions.
zanox is currently represented in 22 countries and has a long list of prestigious international clients. This multichannel commerce provider has been operating at a profit since 2001 and has managed to at least double its turnover each year ever since. At present, the company oversees more than one million partnerships. The company is set to increase its now 80-strong workforce to around 120 employees by the end of 2005. According to Forrester Research, zanox's target market is expected to grow to more than 167 billion euros by 2009 in Europe alone.
Christian Kleinsorge, in charge of international operations at zanox, describes this dynamic growth: "The slogan for our international expansion is: 'Think globally, act locally'. All of the indicators in our key target markets are pointing sharply upwards. We are convinced that we can achieve our ambitious turnover targets."

zanox is currently presenting its multichannel commerce solutions in an international road show. The main highlight is the Agency Solution and top zanox managers will address visitors. After London and Amsterdam the road show will be making stops at Stockholm and Tokyo on 17 May, Paris on 19 May, and Milan on 31 May.
