Lisbon/Paris/Zurich (ptp043/04.03.2020/14:00) - Gentlemen's Equity S.A., a listed holding company based in Portugal (ISIN: PTGVE1AE0009, MLGEQ), has increased its shares in the Swiss SP Group (Europe) AG to 42.3%, thereby taking over the de facto control majority in the company. The SP Group is an investment boutique with access to asset managers, investors and partners from industry.
For Nikola Trajanov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gentlemen's Equity S.A., the majority stake is an excellent strategic step to the further growth of Gentlemen's Equity S.A. "With this commitment, synergies can be exploited in the management of both companies, which not least serves the shareholders," explains Trajanov.
Christopher Grunder, founder and former majority shareholder of SP Group (Europe) AG, welcomes the majority stake because it will not only give SPG a creative realignment, but will also provide access to the international capital market.
