Zurich (ptp015/16.08.2024/15:00) - Discover the impressive visual creations of Michele Vester at the SWISSARTEXPO 2024, taking place from August 21 to 25 in the prestigious SBB Event Hall at Zurich's main station.
Michele Vester was born in Ascona at Monte Verità. However, his life story truly began in 1902 when his grandfather Karl, one of the first dropouts, jointed the cultural movement at Monte Verità. This movement attracted artists, intellectuals, anarchists, and philosophers interested in alternative lifestyles and philosophies. Michele has inherited this legacy and adapted it to a modern art context.
For over 25 years, Michele Vester has worked as an independent interior designer, guiding his clients in their quest for the perfect atmosphere. His works are featured in numerous renowned architecture and interior design magazines. His public works include the Grand Café "al Porto" in Lugano and the "Café Lago" in Locarno, where visitors can experience his design masterpieces over a good cappuccino. In the last years, Michele has increasingly dedicated himself to creative art, paintings and sculptures.
His artworks, including "Angels in Gold Rush" and "Eva and Adam in Paradise," are characterized by the use of vintage materials and innovative techniques. These unique pieces, handcrafted and refined with gold and silver leaf, are testimonies to his creative vision and craftsmanship excellence. Other notable works by Michele Vester include sculptures like "Frozen Bird in the North Pole" and "Love," which impress with their detailed execution and artistic refinement. His sculptures are immersed in ecological resin and hand-polished, giving them a shiny, almost lifelike surface. Michele Vester's works are more than just artworks; they are narratives that convey stories of journeys, encounters, and cultural influences.
Each piece is unique, signed, and with a personal touch that reflects his deep connection to the themes and materials. Experience Michele Vester's masterful compositions firsthand and be enchanted by his artistic world.
Visit his exhibition at the SWISSARTEXPO 2024 and immerse yourself in the fascinating blend of intuition, craftsmanship, and cultural sensitivity that makes his works so unique.
