Zurich (ptp024/24.08.2023/15:00) - From 6 to 10 September 2023, art lovers can look forward to discovering the exciting photographs of Steffen Freiling at the SWISSARTEXPO in Zurich.
Steffen Freiling's series "The Color Codes" and "Space over Time" go far beyond the boundaries of traditional photography and explore new forms of visual expression. The series offer the viewer a captivating journey into a world full of beauty, depth and change.
In the series "The Color Codes" Steffen Freiling combines the precision of macro photography with the creative freedom of the distortion technique. Through deliberate distortions, the visual identification of the original objects is made difficult and attention is drawn to the emotional and aesthetic effect. This creates a fascinating tension between the known and the unknown, the recognizable and the hidden. The works transport the viewer into a world where the boundaries between reality and abstraction become blurred.
