Zürich (ptp004/15.08.2022/09:00) - The SWISSARTEXPO is honored to present a selection of Russian artist Nikolay Cherednichenko's extraordinary artworks as part of the prestigious art festival taking place in Zurich's main station August 24 to 28, 2022.
Before Nikolay Cherednichenko found his way to his current passion, he led a colorful and varied professional life. From radio operator to lumberjack to successful entrepreneur, the creative painter tried out many things until the fascination of wood sculpting captured him in 1989. At the age of 32, he then devoted himself entirely to oil painting and became a passionate professional artist.
Cherednichenko is a phenomenon. Once a project is started, nothing stops him from enthusiastically and fearlessly realizing his inspirations on canvas and paper. Canvas, oil and palette knife are the lifeblood of the painter. For years he spent every hour and minute of the day in front of the easel. His creative power was irrepressible, and as a result, his talent and creativity gave rise to numerous paintings that are abstract, bright in color and often address a very profound theme. Cherednichenko's expressionist style, often described as monovisual cinematic, is driven by the desire to create once again the miracle of the birth of something new that did not exist before and reveals a new perception to the viewer.
From August 24 to 28, the ambience of this year's SWISSARTEXPO will be vitalized by such imposing and passionate works as those by Nikolay Cherednichenko. His paintings and sculptures captivate the viewer and create imaginative dimensions and individual interpretations. From different points of view, very unique ideas for his multi-layered works always emerge. The flair of Zurich's venerable main station provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable experience when viewing these original works of art. Space, time and dimensions combine to create a completely impressive new world of experience.
