Zurich (ptp027/19.08.2021/14:00) - The Ukrainian-born artist Victoria V is pleased to announce that her artworks will be officially exhibited at the art festival SWISSARTEXPO 2021. Her original artworks will delight all art lovers from August 25 to 29, 2021 at the Zurich SBB Event Hall.
Victoria V was born in Ukraine and spent a few years in Russia before she moved to Vienna in Austria, where she is based to this day. Her abstract, provocative and poignant compositions embrace the irrepressible power and mysticism of human existence with all its demonic, wonderful and fascinating features. Her creative and imaginative art practice incorporates influences of Eastern European aesthetics as well as the Western style approach. Ancient symbolism and mythology, together with contemporary influences, create a powerful combination of forms and refined color elements. Victoria's figurative as well as abstract artworks explore people's social and personal boundaries. Likewise, they deal with the concepts of trance and subconscious, sexuality, mysticism and symbolism.
In a passionate interplay of energies, symbols, colors, pigments and lines, the artist creates exceptional paintings, preferably in acrylic or mixed media. Using various materials such as marker, collage, papier-mâché, threads, wires or even ink, she creates heavy, stirring works of art that confront the viewer with the relentless truth. For Victoria V, her creation means freedom and breathing freely. To this day she frees herself from all constraints through her art and immerses herself completely in her creative world. In her creations, the ancient, the present and the future merge. Thus awakens a connection of higher matter and inner demons.
At the SWISSARTEXPO the talented artist will present her paintings "Who Is The Next One?" (ink, marker, threads, on canvas, 80 cm x 80 cm x 4 cm) and "The White Noise" (acrylic, ink, marker, threads on canvas, 80 cm x 80 cm x 4 cm) in the heart of Zurich. This art festival takes place for the third time in the SBB Event Hall of Zurich's main station and offers the perfect stage for artists of all styles. The audience of Victoria V embarks on a journey to its deepest inner self. Everything that has remained hidden beneath the surface finds a beguiling appearance in her captivating works of art. A new art catalog on site will present more paintings from Victoria V's life's work.
