Zurich (ptp033/16.08.2021/16:00) - This year, for the first time, Layla Vladi is one of the exhibitors at SWISSARTEXPO 2021, which will be held in the heart of Zurich from August 25 to 29, 2021. The art festival consists of a collective of national and international artists who come together in the time-honored ambience of Zurich's main train station for a colorful celebration of art and creativity.

Layla Vladi, a German illustrator living in San Francisco, has been creating her own unique brand of fantasy-inspired illustrations, establishing a name for herself in the art community. Her years of experience and education in 2D artwork, traditional fine arts, and computer science have given her a broad range of skills and perspectives, necessary for her in-depth and detail-rich creations. A storyteller at heart, she manages to transform life's confusing and hurtful truths into stunning digital artworks, giving each one of them a narrative of their own. In fiery and theatrical to gentle and romantic images, she draws a river of narrative that flows its way in imaginative worlds invented from the ground up in the creative mind of the artist.

Mainly depicting people in nature, Layla Vladi finds her artistic voice using the influences of numerous cultures and time phenomena from the comic and art worlds. Her motifs range from Van Gogh to Sailor Moon, though her own style clearly originates in the rich culture of Japanese manga and anime. Her dark and mysterious looking creations are a dream of digital painting and honorable in their professional craft. Whether in collaboration or as a solo project, Layla Vladi's artworks inspire around the globe. In addition to illustrations and digital works, she also creates character designs and concept art in her studio in San Francisco.

The Creative Committee of the SWISSARTEXPO art festival is excited to introduce Layla Vladi as an exhibitor at the art festival in Switzerland. A selection of her fantastic artworks will be digitally presented in the hall of Zurich's main train station from August 25 to 29, 2021. Visitors to the exhibition will be invited on a fantasy journey in Layla Vladi's works, where they can let themselves be inspired by the artist's outstanding talent and imagination.

An exclusive art catalog by Layla Vladi will also be available on site to give lovers of her art an even deeper impression of her work.
