Zurich (ptp026/19.08.2020/12:00) - ´From 20 - 24 August 2020, visitors of the art festivals SWISSARTEXPO will once again experience an enchanting display of creativity, colours and shapes. Artistic talents from all over the world will come together in the SBB Event Hall at Zurich Main Station to form a diverse exhibition of digitally and originally presented works of art. The Italian artist Franco Pasti announced today that he will also be among the exhibitors.
The autodidact Franco Pasti was born in 1947 in Milan, Italy, and first gained a foothold in the art world as a professional photographer. From 1978 to 1988 he worked as a still life and fashion photographer for Vogue Italia and Vogue Australia. His international collaboration ranged from well-known fashion magazines to prestigious interior design magazines.
In his photography series "Leaves Under Water", created between 2013 and 2015 during his summer trips to Greece, the artist explored the silence of the sea, as well as its roughness, which creates movement and gives life to the leaves, creating a balanced pictorical composition. Inspired by nature, he gives the viewer of his creations a completely new perspective on the beauty and uniqueness of life. Detailed and fine excerpts from perfectly timed snapshots thus become impressive images that evoke sensuality and admiration.
At the SWISSARTEXPO 2020 in Zurich's main railway station, visitors will be able to enjoy his artworks exhibited in their original form. The photographs presented are shown to their best advantage thanks to the high-quality Fine Art Glicée print on Hahnemühle William Turner 310gr cotton paper. Each of them is a homage to the precious existence on earth and to the wonderful creation of nature. Thanks to the works of Franco Pasti, the viewer is able to pause for a moment to appreciate the subtleties and wonders of our world.
The recently published art catalogue of Franco Pasti will also be available on site to give visitors an even deeper insight into his impressive work.
