Zurich (ptp015/06.08.2020/10:30) - The artist Alexander Krenn will present three of his artworks digitally as part of the SWISSARTEXPO in the Zurich Main Station Hall from 20 to 24 August 2020. His newly published art catalogue will also be available on site to visitors. The SWISSARTEXPO is an art festival that offers talented artists from all artistic genres the opportunity to present their works in one of the most visited halls in Europe.
The Austrian painter Alexander Krenn grew up in Vorarlberg and has lived and worked in Vienna for almost 27 years. His entire artistic work is influenced by his fascination for the paradox that exerts an almost magical attraction on him. He based his work on the following quotation:
"The paradox is the exaggerated, absurd and seemingly nonsensical formulation of a thought. This contradictory statement, however, has a deep insight. Paradoxes always have a higher truth on closer inspection."
With brush and paint, Krenn lets this philosophical approach take shape on the canvas and thus creates artworks of the most diverse nature. On one hand he produces vivid, positive and spiritual works, on the other hand he also expresses himself in dark and colourless creations. Whether in surreal or absurd style, the paradox is reflected in each of his works. The individual components alone are not paradoxical, but only when looking at the complete composition can the paradoxical character be recognized by the eye. Each of his paintings deals with the shared approach in a different way and has its own artistic character.
At the SWISSARTEXPO 2020 Alexander Krenn will digitally exhibit a selection of three paintings under his artist pseudonym "hisit.ka". All art lovers are cordially invited to visit the paradoxical masterpieces and explore their profound message in person. His new artist catalogue will also be available on site to give visitors an even deeper insight into his creative work. The exhibition will take place from 20 to 24 August 2020 in the SBB Event Hall at Zurich Main Station.
