Last year's ARTBOX.PROJECT in Zürich |

Zurich (ptp036/05.03.2020/14:00) - One year ago, the ARTBOX.PROJECT turned Zurich's main station hall for the first time into the home of numerous artworks. This summer, the art project is entering its second round as part of the SWISSARTEXPO art festival.
The SBB Event Hall at the Zurich main station houses artistic highlights throughout the year, such as the angel sculpture by Niki de St. Phalle and "the philosophical egg" by Mario Merz. Thanks to the SWISSARTEXPO, original works of art by over 90 artists will be exhibited there from 20 to 24 August 2020. In addition, as part of the ARTBOX.PROJECT Zurich 2.0, numerous digitally presented artworks will complete the exhibition by using the latest technologies. From all digitally displayed art objects, 10 finalists will be selected in advance to be exhibited in their original form.
The goal of the ARTBOX.PROJECT is to offer talented and aspiring artists a platform on which they can present their art to a broad public without great effort. Digital presentation tools, such as the brand new 86" 4K HD screens, are an essential part of the projects. Thanks to the outstanding resolution of the screens and the excellent reproduction of the colours, the works of art are presented in a deceptively real way.
As in previous ARTBOX.PROJECTS, which took place in New York, Basel and Miami during Art Basel Art Week, among other places, visitors can expect a wide range of different art styles, techniques and nationalities.
Artists can register for the ARTBOX.PROJECT Zurich 2.0 at https://www.artboxprojects.com/home-e until July 8, 2020.
