Zurich (ptp017/01.08.2019/11:00) - Contemporary pop artist Jimmy Gockel announced today that his artwork has been accepted by the jury to be exposed digitally at the ARTBOX.PROJECT Zürich 1.0 during the SWISSARTEXPO in Zurich, Switzerland. The exhibition will be held at the SBB Event Hall in Zurich from 15 to 19 August 2019. Around 400'000 visitors are expected to attend.
Jimmy Gockel, creator of Gock Art, is an upcoming emerging artist who took up art as a hobby only three years ago. Nevertheless, he has already had several successes in his career as an artist. His artwork has been featured in Southwest Art Magazine, AcrylicWorks 4, Northlight books, ArtAScent, and Artist Portfolio Magazine's. The works convince with bright colours and interesting motifs that immediately attract the viewer's attention.
Furthermore his artwork has been on display in over 50 national and international exhibitions to include New York, Miami, London and Zurich, Switzerland.
Jimmy Gockel, a native of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, was awarded semi-finalist at the ARTBOX.PROJECT New York 1.0 exhibition in 2018. In addition, he received publication of his artwork through the ARTBOX.PROJECT finalists art catalogue. In the meantime his new and second catalogue has been published in which several of his works inspired by the 60s can be seen. This year he was again chosen as a semi-finalist with his artwork "Dali" at the ARTBOX.PROJECT Zürich 1.0. His artwork "Dali" will receive a special presentation on the big 2x2 meters LED screen in the middle of the SWISSARTEXPO.
The SWISSARTEXPO offers a large number of talented aspiring artists a platform to present their original artwork to the public. Jimmy Stated, "I am extremely honored to be part of such a prestigious art festival and grateful for the opportunity to show my artwork to the world."
