Zurich, Switzerland (ptp026/30.07.2019/14:00) - The Israeli artist Dalit Shahar announces today that her artworks will be digitally exhibited as part of the ARTBOX.PROJECT Zürich 1.0 at SWISSARTEXPO. The art festival, which is expected to attract around 400,000 visitors, will take place from 15th to 19th August 2019 in Zurich's Central Station Hall.

The artist Dalit Shahar who lives in Karkur, Israel, once a fashion designer now dedicates herself passionately to her artistic work in addition to her profession as an interior designer. She has presented her works to the public in group and solo exhibitions.

Dalit Shahar's extensive background makes her artwork what it is today - She uses seductive and bright colors and combines a childlike aesthetic with references to cave drawings, primitive art and masks. The experience she gained as a fashion designer can be seen in the works she intends to exhibit. She sews, embroiders, ties yarns and buttons into her richly painted canvases, thus creating an interwoven unique piece of art.

The eleven artworks, which she will be presenting at SWISSARTEXPO, are from her "MIXED TECHNIQUE WITH TEXTILE" group of art. The work is multilayered, open to interpretation and enable a rich and multiplex observing experience. Dalit Shahar describes her art as follows: "In some of my works I use elements taken from textile and fashion, while in others I use paper and origami. Whether three-dimensional or linear, painted or embroidered, my work attempts to juxtapose different techniques that all symbolize the complexity of human experience".

All art lovers are cordially invited to view Dalit Shahar's artworks on the "Walk of Art" during SWISSARTEXPO on all five days of exhibition.
