Munich (pts007/03.10.2012/08:00) - In cooperation with Schönmann AG, Cleantec Umwelttechnik GMBH has developed a drip tray for the Dyson Airblade hand dryer. After innovative leasing and various rentals, Dyson premium reseller CLEANTEC now has a drip tray as an accessory for the Dyson Airblade hand dryer.

The goal was to develop a drip tray for installations with the need for especially high comfort such as educational and health facilities. In washrooms in which many hands are washed, the floor gets wet since all the water on the hands is not dried but drops to the floor. That is considered annoying in many places.

The drip tray is made of ABS (polycarbonate) and is color coordinated, in the colors steel or white, with the Dyson Airblade hand dryer. The drip tray can be installed without much effort using a wall bracket, screws and pegs. As an additional feature, the tray can be locked to hinder vandalism and theft. Cooperation with the Swiss firm Schönmann AG has been uniformly positive, given its especially broad know-how and numerous field studies in the Swiss market.

Hygiene

Anti-microbial silver additives on the surface limit the growth of bacteria and fungus by 99.9 per cent and thereby decrease the risk of their spreading. In comparison to other producers, water is not retained in the device. That would result in contamination and would not comply with the strict hygienic requirements of NSF and HACCP.

NSF International

NSF International, the global advice and certification organization for hygiene in the workplace, has tested the Dyson Airblade hand dryer and stated that it meets NSF's stringent standards for hygienic systems of hand dryers. The Dyson Airblade is the only hand dryer that meets the requirements of NSF regulation P335.

HACCP International

HACCP International has certified that the operation of the Dyson Airblade hand dryer is suitable for companies and establishments in the foodstuffs branch that operate in accordance with the HACCP-based foodstuffs safety system. HACCP International's non-food certification supports organizations whose products and services meet the highest quality demands of food safety. The highest recognition is based on this product. The Dyson Airblade is the only hand dryer that fits the HACCP's concept.
