Leonberg (pts031/26.06.2006/15:15) - HUSH(TM) Technologies, the innovative manufacturer of fanless PCs and cooling systems, now offers its well known Mini ITX and Mini ITXe Series with the new VIA C7 CPU motherboard. HUSH(TM) is concentrating on the VIA(TM) C7 family, which starts with a 1.5 GHz CPU.
The motherboard is based on the new VIA CN700 Digital Media chipset and supports DDR2 400/533 DIMM of memory modules up to 1GB max. The mainboard is optimised for the high quality replay of digital media and uses the integrated VIA Uni Chrome TM Pro AGP graphic core with hardware-based MPEG-2 decoder and MPEG-4 accelerator/decoder. This ensures a pleasant and interference free replay of well known video formats. Additional extension cards, which are plugged directly into the board, offer functional enhancements, e.g. DVI, 3*10/100/1000 LAN extensions, CF interface.
Consistent with the HUSH(TM) product philosophy the Mini ITX systems are passively cooled, and are therefore fanless. The heat is dissipated through heat pipes to the substantial aluminium case, and can run continuously 24/7 at a room temperature of 36° Celsius. The anti-vibration case consists of aluminium alloy with a thickness of 13 mm. The current power supply is an external power supply unit with a power consumption of 90W.
The HUSH(TM) Mini ITX is small, elegant and silent and offers a simple solution for noise and space problems. The system can also be ordered as an Office or Medical PC. HUSH(TM) Technologies offers the user custom-made solutions for the business and private use. The new HUSH(TM) Mini ITX is available in black and silver colours amongst others and it can be delivered with a pre-installed Windows Microsoft XP Professional, Microsoft XP Home or MS Works Suite 2005.
The basic Mini ITX configuration comprises 256MB RAM, 40GB HDD and DVD ROM and is available for a price starting at EUR 940.00 including German VAT.
