Vienna/Mumbai (pts007/22.03.2006/08:00) - In its latest edition, the well known scientifical magacine "Indian Journal of Plastic Surgery" published the study of Viennese cosmetic surgeon DDr. Karl-Georg Heinrich about the efficacy of injection-lipolysis with phosphatidylcholine. This study was able to proof for the first time that the method really is effective and that the patients handle it well.
Study details:
Significant reduction of fat deposits were seen in all 85 patients participating in the study. The results varied individually between 1,00 and 7,00 cm circumferential reduction of the areas treated. The response of the female patients was generally better as with the male patients. No serious side-effects were noted. DDr. Karl Georg Heinrich: "The effectiveness of the Injection-Lipolysis with phosphatidylcholine is now proven. Nethertheless Microcannular Liposuction remains Cosmetic surgeons first choice in removing fat deposits on the body, but patients who do not want to undergo surgery now have an alternative option".
