Vienna (pts026/27.04.2005/12:30) - International Academy of Aesthetic Lipolysis (IAAL), providing educational courses and workshops in Injection-Lipolysis, emphasizes that not all phosphatidylcholine-preparations used in the method yield the same results. Practitioners from the US and South America reported some side effects not seen by practitioners using European Phosphatidylcholine (not available in the US).
International specialists of Injection-Lipolysis are now checking which ingredients of the preparations used in the US and South America are responsible for the different results reported. As to DDr. Heinrich the most likely reasons are additional ingredients like cholate and some alcohols that are found in high concentrations in Phosphatidylcholine-preparations from the US and South America. IAAL recommends the use of phosphatidylcholine-preparations manufactured at a Viennese pharmaceutical company which show very good results in Injection-Lipolysis-treatment without the side-effects reported from US and South America.
