Copenhagen (pte013/22.02.2005/10:30) - Danish telecoms operator TDC http://www.tdc.com has launched TDC Nordic IP VPN, which gives pan-Nordic and other Nordic companies the opportunity to interconnect all locations, employees and co-operation partners in one secure network across national borders in the Nordic countries. As the company reports in a press release on its website, the network can be used for both data, phone calls and video and thereby meets all the company's communication needs. http://om.tdc.dk/artikel.php?id=67301&dogtag=tdc_o_english_press_release
"The large business customers increasingly demand cross-border solutions. TDC Nordic IP VPN utilises our strong fibre network to offer customers a high-quality data network that can be expanded to cover, among other things, IP telephony and a number of security services," said Morten Broegger, vice president of TDB Business.
TDC Nordic IP VPN is a multi service network based on TDC's own network, which covers 85 per cent of all business customers in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. According to the company, it provides the possibility of very large bandwidths and ensures that the customers are offered precisely the same solution in all four countries.
