Leipzig (pte037/30.06.2003/15:31) - PC-Ware AG has ended the fiscal year 2002/2003 with the best results in company history.
The European IT services provider increased its turnover by 30 per cent to 464.4m euros compared to 356.9m euros in 2001/2002. Profits before taxes, interest and amortisation improved by 26 per cent to 11.1m euros, and the board of directors plans to propose a dividend of 30 cents per share. The company released its new results in an ad hoc press statement today http://www.pc-ware.de/de/PC-Ware/main.htm .
About two thirds of the turnover increase can be attributed to the organic growth of the company. In Germany and the Netherlands the group is market leader for software licensing and license management and PC-Ware has subsidiaries in eight European countries (D, GB, F, I, NL, B, A, CH), as well as a total of 580 employees. PC-Ware earns a third of its turnover in Europe.
"In spite of the uncertain economy, PC-Ware plans to focus on security, continuity in its dividend policy, and further growth in 2003/2004," said Stefan Edlich, who is head of IR for the listed company.
