Cupertino (pte048/04.06.2003/17:25) - With the introduction of the updated version of its iSync software, Apple http://www.apple.com now supports synchronisation with over 20 mobile phones. The new iSync 1.1 software allows bluetooth phones by Nokia, Siemens and Sony Ericsson to synchronise their address books and calendars with Apple solutions.
The software is also compatible with several Motorola phones, permitting the exchange of data via USB port. For transfers from Mac to Mac, iSync 1.1 now supports the synchronisation of Safari-Bookmarks.
ISync 1.1 is available as a free download, provided the user has Mac OS X v10.2.5 and iCal 1.0.2. A complete list of all devices compatible with iSync has been published at http://www.apple.com/at/isync .
