Darmstadt (pte032/28.05.2003/15:00) - T-Online http://www.t-online.de , Europe's largest ISP company, has sold all shares in its 100-per cent subsidiary t-info GmbH to DeTeMedien.
The shares will be officially transferred to Deutsche Telekom subsidiary DeTeMedien on 1 April, 2003. The transaction is worth 86m euros. The boards of T-Online and DeTeMedien have given their approval of the sale.
In 2002 T-info reported earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation of about one million euros - about two per cent of T-Online's total turnover.
T-info offers an information service through which numbers can be found free of charge, as well as special listings on the Internet and mobile end devices such as PDA's and phones.
DeTeMedien publishes all telecommunications listings for Deutsche Telekom services.
