Cannes (pte037/01.04.2003/15:52) - The International Advertising Festival Cannes has extended its deadline for entries for the renowned Media Lion and Cyber Lion prizes to be awarded this month http://www.canneslions.com .
Creative work in the categories Media Lion and Cyber Lion may be submitted until 11 April. All applications to the largest advertising festival in the world must be submitted online. The deadline in the categories Film, Outdoor/Press and Lions Direct is 4 April.
Marketing and advertising professionals from around the world will either be presenting their work or observing trends in the industry at the advertising festival in Cannes from 15 to 21 June, 2003, which is now in its 50th year.
Last year the Media Lion went to the Australian agency Universal McCann in Sydney for its Unilever campaign "Magnum - The Seven Deadly Sins". The Cyber Lion went to Copenhagen-based agency Framfab for "Nike: Football" http://nikefootball.nike.com and the US agency Fallon Minneapolis for its BMW films "The Hire" http://www.bmw.films.com .
