Koeln (pte020/05.02.2003/10:56) - Stunning supermodel Heidi Klum who was voted Germany's most erotic woman has launched her own collection of orthopaedic sandals. The blonde model's range of Birkenstock comfort sandals consists of a white leather sandal called 'Saphir' at 143 pounds, a denim sandal named 'Jade' at 125 pounds and a solid black clog called 'Topas' at 137 pounds.
The 29-year-old German beauty, who has long since been a Birkenstock fan, said on the sturdy footwear: "They last for years. I wear them at the beach and even to go shopping." The soles of the latest range are imprinted not only with the traditional Birkenstock logo but also with Heidi's own signature 'H' and will hit the shops at the end of February, reported German paper 'Express'.
Heidi presented the collection in Cologne at the weekend before attending the Evening Standard British Film Awards. Some of Hollywood's hottest actresses have also been seen stepping out in Birkenstock sandals - including 'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston and 'Pulp Fiction' actress Uma Thurman. http://www.birkenstock.de
