Vienna, Austria (pts045/14.01.2003/11:09) - TOPCALL International AG (Vienna Stock Exchange, Prime Market and NASDAQ Europe: TOPC) today announced its preliminary annual results for the financial year 2002 ended on December 31. Management expects to record total revenues in the region of Eur 30 million for this period. According to the company, the positive EBIT for the financial year 2002 lies between 6 and 8 percent in relation to total revenues (previous year: -17%). Final figures will be announced on February 27.
According to the figures released, the company was also able to record growth of between 7 and 9 percent in its product business area. At the same time, TOPCALL reduced personnel expenses by around 9 percent in the last financial year. The reduction in other expenditure amounted to almost 20 percent.

We are delighted to have been able to further consolidate our leading position in the Unified Communication sector on an international level, despite the continuous tight economic situation in the global markets."
Christoph Stockert, CFO at TOPCALL International AG, adds: "In the last financial year, the company was able to make significant advances especially in the Asian/Pacific sales markets. In addition, we also recorded double digit percentage growth rates in a number of European countries."
Management is also pleased about the positive development of the TOPCALL share price on the new stock market in Vienna, Austria. Since the company's listing in the Prime Market segment on December 19, 2002, TOPCALL shares have already recorded an increase in value of around 20%.
