The ITBeurope Business Network: Matchmaking at i.convienna 2006
More than 100 bilateral meetings

Vienna (pts008/13.02.2006/08:00) - i.convienna, Vienna's international congress on information and consulting parallel to Vienna's ICT show ITnT, is not only a forum for lectures and presentations but also a meeting place for the European ICT industry, focussing in particular on small and medium sized ICT enterprises in Central and Eastern Europe.

ITBeurope, co organiser for the theme conference "IT - Public Sector and Industry", has invited more than 150 companies, ICT associations and governmental representatives from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia & Montenegro, Bosnia & Hercegovina, Romania, Bulgaria, but also from Thailand, Germany, Belgium, Israel, and, of course, Austria, to attend the lectures, present their home countries' ICT economies and to enter into bilateral partner talks in a 1:1 matchmaking schedule.

The software for the automated matchmaking process has been developed by ITBeurope partner companies DNS Database and Networking Solutions http://www.dns.co.at and defrag your mind GmbH http://www.defrag.at and meanwhile ranks among the best solutions in the market.

Based on company profiles the solution provides meeting schedules that can be parametricised according to priorities determined by requesting and requested partners and optimized to deliver continuous individual meetings based on location capacities.

Thus more than 100 meetings will take place on Feb., 15, 2006, day two of the conference, at Congress Center Vienna. One of the most interesting features is the fact that according to the meeting schedules, i.convienna has turned from an East-West meeting place into an event with a strong East-East focus, strengthening the city's character of a platform for the ICT business in Central and Eastern Europe, meanwhile also reaching out to the Middle and Far East.

The Thai delegation's visit to i.convienna is the first international presence of the booming Thai ICT industry abroad.

"IT - Public Sector and Industry" is one of nine theme conferences at i.convienna and will be more extensive in 2007, with a strong presence of two countries as "special guests".

The matchmaking programme will be extended after i.convienna 2006 into a three level partnering service launched by ITBeurope's Business Network: International business contacts will be provided on a virtual, an event based and a personally assisted level. The Network will be presented for the first time at i.convienna 2006 on Thursday, Feb. 16, at 1 p.m., in room Schubert 1 at the Congress Center Vienna: http://www.itbeurope.org/315.html

Late registration requests for free access to these presentations please mail directly to mailto:office@itbeurope.org. The decision on eligibility for free tickets remains with ITBeurope.
