Hong Kong/ Bangkok (pte044/19.05.2003/15:40) - The 3G World Congress http://www.3gcongress.com held by IIR http://www.iir.com has been rescheduled to be held in Thailand in November.
The fair was originally supposed to take place in June in Hong Kong, but the organisers saw themselves forced to cancel the event due to the SARS outbreak in the region.
The new setting for the event, which has been set for 3 to 7 November, will be the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre in Bangkok. "In the next weeks we will receive confirmation from those presenting, finalise logistic arrangements and organise an additional marketing campaign," said the organisers.
The UMTS Forum http://www.umts-forum.org and CDMA Development Group http.//www.cdg.org will be working together for the first time at this year's 3G World Congress.
