New York (pte039/12.05.2003/14:02) - The first worldwide online expo against terrorism will take place from 12-15 May, and will also be accessible for three months. The website Terror & Technology Online(TM), http://www.tatevent.com, is the first-ever global online trade show that deals with the fight against terrorism.

The event organiser, IDPartners http://www.idpartners.com , is offering "thousands of anti-terrorism strategies, federal, state and local officials, CTOs, CSOs, system intergrators security officers and concerned people from 22 countries" to take part in the event. By registering online visitors of the conference can browse the cutting-edge technological products and make contact with exhibitors to exchange "business cards and ideas."

A series of lectures and discussions on the topics of IT, transportation, infrastructure and public security will be hosted by the organisers. Former Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and R. James Woolsey, former director of the CIA, will give opening speeches.
