Oed (pts010/13.08.2025/09:25) - ASTA Europe and GE Vernova have signed a long-term agreement, representing an important extension of the ASTA Group's established collaboration with GE Vernova in driving the global energy transition.
Core Elements of the Collaboration
Under the terms of the agreement, both partners commit to long?term cooperation, securing growth and planning stability for both parties. As part of this collaboration, ASTA Europe will supply several thousand tons of high-precision, customized components, so-called Continuously Transposed Conductors (CTC), for large-scale transformers to GE Vernova sites on the European continent every year. CTC consist of rectangular, film insulated conductors made into an assembly and usually over-wrapped with layers of insulating material. The CTC are produced at the ASTA site in Austria.
The partnership between ASTA Europe and GE Vernova emerged from a constructive negotiation process characterized by professionalism, transparency, and mutual understanding successfully concluded in under six months. The foundation of the partnership lies in a clear win-win logic, ensuring long-term benefits and strategic clarityfor both sides. The contract was formally signed by the management of ASTA Europe, and Fabrice Zamparutti, Sourcing Executive + local unit management responsible at GE?Vernova, underlining strategic alignment.
