Zurich, Switzerland (ptp012/10.07.2019/11:00) - Carmen Coduri, an artist born in Switzerland in 1969, today announces the publication of her new art catalogue. On 24 pages she presents 18 exquisite works from her artistic oeuvre. Both oil paintings and sculptures are shown - these are the artist's two preferred techniques.
Already as a child Carmen Coduri was enthusiastic about colours and creativity. She attended her first painting course at the age of 8 and completed her first oil painting at 11. This passion for the creative work never let go of her later in life. So at a young age she travelled to different countries like Italy and New York, where she found the inspiration and the courage to dedicate herself completely to her artistic work. She started small and set up her first studio in a garage, but soon her first exhibitions and collaborations with famous sculptors began. Her autobiography "Vom Opfer zur Täterin" also found approval and is now available at Amazon or Ex Libris.
A closer look at her works reveals that Carmen Coduri's art is more than just nice color arrangements. Her paintings and sculptures tell different stories full of emotions and feelings. The artist skilfully knows how to use different colour accents and structures in order to reproduce her experiences as a harmonious whole on the canvas. The dynamics of her sculptures also invite the viewer to linger and be amazed.
Her new art catalogue will be presented at the Swiss art festival SWISSARTEXPO as a big launch. The exhibition will take place from 15th to 19th August 2019 in the SBB Event Hall at Zurich Central Station. During this time, various of her works will also be shown in digital form as part of the ARTBOX.PROJECT Zürich 1.0.
