Zurich (ptp032/12.09.2018/15:30) - After extremely successful exhibitions in Miami, Basel and New York, the ARTBOX.PROJECT will start its fourth round in 2019! The ARTBOX.PROJECT Zurich 1.0 will take place from 15 to 19 August 2019 as part of SWISSARTEXPO in the SBB Event Hall at Zurich Main Station. With over 80,000 daily visitors, the SBB Event Hall is one of the most visited halls in Europe.
The ARTBOX.PROJECT in this version again pursues the goal of promoting young artists from all over the world and offering them a prominent platform on which they can present themselves to the public. All of the participants' artworks will now be shown on various screens in the SWISSARTEXPO "Walk of Art". The 100 semi-finalists selected by the jury will receive one of the coveted places on the oversized LED screen. In addition, 10 finalists from all participants will be honoured who will be allowed to exhibit their original artworks on site at the SWISSARTEXPO.
As in previous years, a very broad spectrum of techniques, trends and possibilities from all over the world is expected. The successful concept, which is supported by the large LED screen, enables ARTBOX.PROJECT to present a wide variety of styles, techniques and nations.
Art Party instead of a vernissage:
The Art Party instead of a vernissage is already a fixed part of the ARTBOX.PROJECT programme. With the Art Party, the ARTBOX.PROJECT invites you to a relaxed aperitif in the middle of the exhibition to marvel at the artworks and to get to know the artists personally.
